Another go at gas giants. I was being a lot more adventurous with this one as you can probably tell. Duel rings, stormy surface, 3 different layered atmospheric effects (ok you probably wouldn't notice that one).

Hmm... If you could get it to look like the rings intersected rather than having one on top of the other, that would be awesome (and a bit more realistic).

Well according to the folks at solar voyager, apperently it would be more realistic for them to be far apart from each other, and that was my original intention even though in my oppinion is doesn't look like they are. Though it would look cool if they intersected. Thanks anyway

They're probably right (I read that post there), I'm talking artistically though. The way you set it up makes it seem as if they are equidistant from the planet, but at the same time one looks like its on top of the other. Just trying to give some input for the next piece, which I'm very much looking forward to seeing ;)

Thanks for the advice anyway, I know it kinda does look a little odd, I guess the way I did it wasn't too good at making them look far apart, ah well. As for my next piece I think I'm gonna try a galaxy of some kind, wish me luck!
