Someone requested to make a more detailed version of this, or somethig along those lines. Guess the camo scheme on the last ones worked a little too well. Well heres the version without the camo. I had to paint this before I could apply the camo scheme so it wasn't hard to knock up. In future I'll upload a plain one first then the camo ones after. Anyway enjoy.

I have to say ALL 3 of these paints you did were pretty wild. I like how you're take on approaching cammo was wildly different from mine though I have some out there patterns planned for my own mecha designs on the way ;) Very, very cool though and great job man :)

Thanks mate, I'm glad I didn't mess up on your aproach to camo, I tried to do something that looks a lot different from your CG style.

Not sure how it's going to go but I was aksed by him about that and already offered to help, it will depend on my schedule but I'll probably be able to do it. I imagine he has plenty of stuff to color though, he has a pile of fab mechs alredy posted :) Hell, I should dig up some of my line art and let others take a crack at coloring it too ;) I have a lot of stuff that I would find interesting to see others take on.

Oooh, oooh, me too!

(It would probably need to be after Christmas, as that's when I get my tablet. But I probably could do something)

Very good pic, primal. The camo schemes are a bit too complex,. but this one is plain and simple. Very lethal.

And of course Genocidal Penguin's (And VulnePro's) skills are already known about and worshipped.

jeez this is so awesome! How do you do it? the shading, the angle, how everything moves so softly together, yet he's hard and stiff as a rock? You, my friend, are one creative dude. Mechs are so hard to draw b/c of how much detail must go into them. Superb job!

oops, messed up my messages here, ah well, you better check on this actual page to read em all properly. As for the method, it's not that hard. I almost entirely used a brush on 10-25% opacity that I used to paint the highlights and shodows over a base colour. Then I would add extra darker bits with a finer brush but with the smae opacity and a darker colour. Then just a matter of putting little bits and bobs on where they need to be, such as the chips in the paint and some symbols.
